The problem
Morgan Steel is a custom metal fabricator with 30 years on the market, serving customers across Slovakia and Austria. Their technicians handle warranty and post-warranty service — recurring and ad-hoc — for thousands of installed products. Scheduling ran on phone calls and spreadsheets; job documentation came back from the field on paper, if at all.
The solution
I designed and built a lightweight system tailored to how they actually work: a web app for planning all service types, with a calendar that assigns technicians automatically based on availability and skills — a door-adjustment job only ever suggests technicians qualified for it. In the field, technicians use a simple mobile app (offline-capable) to see their jobs, study the full service history of each installation, and record results with photos on the spot. The office closes each job the same day.
The result
Every service visit is now documented with photos on the day it happens. The complete service history of every installation lives in one place. Scheduling the right technician takes minutes, not phone calls.
